Tray finds part-time work in the cafeteria of the kids’ school and finds himself more determined than ever to make it as a chef. Shay straightens Josh out after he tells her that sometimes she “goes off” and scares white people.
3. A Roller Skating Jam Named Saturdays
Shay rededicates a neighborhood landmark and reconnects with her old skate crew. Tray and Bobby get caught up helping an OWL (old white lady) in distress.
4. Scenario
Bobby blows an important loan meeting for Tray, who has to reconsider his business relationship with his cousin. Shay drags Amira to a birthday party so she can spend time with her new friend Faith.
5. Sound of Da Police
Josh and Tray have different experiences teaching Shahzad to drive, and he learns a hard lesson about privilege.

Tray takes Shahzad to visit his old barbershop. Shay deals with Amira's recent behavior problems.

A neighborhood tough named BAMF threatens Josh and levies a \"tax\" on the food truck. Tray reconnects with another O.G. in an attempt to learn the new code of the street. Bobby has a new girlfriend, but she comes with more baggage than he imagined.

On Mother's Day, Tray tries to make amends with his mom, who threw him out of the house 30 years ago.
9. Your Mom's in My Business
Shay quits her job and turns her energies to Tray's food truck. Bobby gets a new job as an exterminator.
10. Fight The Power
The food truck crew enters a neighborhood competition. Tray tries to save an old apartment building.
