Louis D'Esposito Biography

Louis D'Esposito is an executive producer and co-president of Marvel Studios. Since ing Marvel Studios in 2006, D'Esposito has overseen and executive produced every MCU film (excluding The Incredible Hulk (2008), beginning with Iron Man (2008)—the blockbuster that launched the franchise. Working alongside President Kevin Feige, he has played a central role in expanding the interconnected universe across multiple phases, guiding critically acclaimed and commercially successful films including Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Avengers: Endgame (2019), Black Panther (2018), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022).

His leadership has helped Marvel Studios generate over $29 billion at the global box office. In addition to his executive producing work, D'Esposito directed the Marvel One-Shots Marvel One-Shot: Item 47 (2012) and Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter (2013). The latter led to the successful television series Agent Carter, further expanding Marvel's storytelling into episodic formats.

Before his time at Marvel, D'Esposito built a successful career as an assistant director and producer, working on major studio projects including The Usual Suspects (1995), Annapolis (2006), and S.W.A.T. (2003).
